My passion is helping people find their ability to take ownership of their health and develop patterns of a life well lived. There are many factors that determine good health; most of us struggle, to some extent, with those that are controllable: exercise, eating right, taking medications as prescribed, and other behavioral recommendations. The mind-body connection influences all aspects of our functioning, including mood and sleep. I am committed to delivering evidenced-based treatments, such as Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as mindfulness and acceptance-based therapies. My treatment approach is to treat the whole person, by identifying what is most important and breaking down barriers to get there.

Health Psychology

I enjoy nature, including leisurely hikes, photography, and learning about plant life and birds. Currently I am getting to know my new home state of Colorado. I also love dogs and have adopted many rescues over the years. My faith community is important to me, and I am always looking for ways to give back.
