How do you strike a balance between your personal and professional life?As much as a workaholic I may seem, I’m an easy-going, flexible and laid back person at home on weekends. I enjoy reading, cooking, playing the keyboard, singing and enjoying quality time with my family. Before, I used to bring my work home and now I just let it wait for me.
Professional hazards at the workplace…I did not experience any hazards as such because I’ve always believed in working together with my team. As a CEO, I share power with all my department heads, and we mutually make business decisions. I’m a down to earth person and I know when to let others speak. Listening skills play an important role in any profession.
Women you look up to…Honestly, I have no ideals but I do appreciate and support all those women in real leadership positions, be it in politics, business, social welfare, and specially my mother and grandmother for their love and encouragement and, most importantly, their trust in my abilities. These are the women (our mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers) who make women everyone can look up to.
The path to success is… The one that utilizes your education, grooms your talent, enhances your knowledge, builds your social network, provides you with new possibilities, takes you places, builds your self-esteem, rewards you financially and brings you to a position that requires persistence, passion, patience, courage, and more opportunity to do more and much more! Success is not a destination, it is a continuous path.
